HRIS & Payroll Systems Analyst

Bond, Schoeneck & King, PLLC, a law firm of more than 300 attorneys in over 30 practice groups, is accepting applications for a full-time HRIS & Payroll Systems Analyst to support our human resources department.  This position will serve as a key member of the HR team, responsible for maintaining and optimizing the Firm’s Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), supporting payroll operations from start to finish, and delivering clear, actionable data insights. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset to support the Firm’s commitment to excellence, responsiveness, and teamwork.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain all HR/Payroll systems including the HRIS system
  • Own the reporting function across HR systems—design, run, and deliver accurate digestible reports and dashboards for HR and Bond leadership.
  • Support full-cycle payroll processing, including auditing timesheets, data imports, and troubleshooting system issues.
  • Perform data entry for new hires, promotions, status changes, and terminations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to HR system users across the Firm.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to identify system enhancements and implement improvements.
  • Maintain and update procedure manuals related to HRIS and payroll functions.
  • Assist with system integrations and mass data imports.
  • Partner with IT and external vendors to ensure system functionality and data integrity.
  • Support the annual HR budget process with system data and reporting.
  • Lead efforts related to HR system transitions, including RFP development and implementation planning. This includes driving system efficiency improvements as the firm moves away from Paychex and works to consolidate UKG and Paychex platforms.
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (Kronos preferred) and payroll systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into meaningful insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Comfortable working across departments and with all levels of the Firm.
